Wild Letters is a weekly newsletter filled with honest stories about self-exploration
Hi! I’m Nic Antoinette, a writer, podcast host, and long-distance hiker. Each week in this Wild Letters space I share personal stories about what I am currently exploring within myself.
What does it take to close the gap between what we say we want and what we actually do? I write about that a lot.
I also write about rest, sobriety, devotion, depression, creative practice, unhooking from hustle culture, building intentional relationships, the meaning of home, the pursuit of small daily pleasures, soft ambition/not wanting a “big” life, and more.
The stories you’ll read here are infused with my deepest beliefs: about the importance of learning to trust yourself, about the permission to explore a less traditional path, about the power of not rushing, and of allowing ourselves to change and grow and let go of who we used to be whenever we want, in order to become who we are becoming next.
If you have the means and desire to support this space (and me as a writer!), I invite you to become a paid subscriber.
You'll get access to Rose Thorn Bud, my popular monthly reflections podcast series where my friend Julia Hanlon and I talk openly and honestly about our real lives in real time. What’s going well? What’s feeling bad? What are we learning, craving, experimenting with, failing at, laughing about, and more.

May this little corner of the internet be a place of digital togetherness, of acceptance and self-compassion, and of always being willing to gently ask ourselves the truest and most necessary questions—even when those questions are hard, and we feel like we don't have any answers at all.
