Hi friends!
Here is your new episode of Rose Thorn Bud, the monthly podcast for paid subscribers of the Wild Letters newsletter, which I am gifting to all readers this month. Thank you so much for being here in this little corner of the internet with me!
If you’re new to this series, it’s one where my friend Julia Hanlon and I talk about our real lives in real time — what’s working, what’s not working, what we’re learning, struggling with, celebrating, questioning, and more.
Here is the link to download the PDF companion workbook that includes all the prompts we talked through in this month’s conversation. I hope it’s useful for your own monthly reflection!
Happy listening :)
Nic
PS - Here’s the link to learn more about (and get early registration access to) the fun little upcoming list-making workshop I mention in this episode. I’d love to have you there!
May 2023: self-compassion and quiet growth
Your reflections are always so clarifying for me ☺️Forgiveness is something I think about a lot. It’s a feeling of neutrality around a person or situation for me. Like a real feeling of neutrality - not me wrestling my anger enough so it’s quiet enough for me to be around them. Often times to get there I need space away from the person or situation. Like months or even years.
For a couple of my toxic family members who are always looking for forgiveness… I think they’re really looking for my allowance or permission for them to continue their bullshit. They don’t really care about how I feel in it. I love the discussion about forgiveness bc it looks so different for everyone! Muah!
Always love love love these episodes. Can you please share the link to the PT person/videos you mention that they have available online? Needing to wrap our head around how to train for this trip we committed to in the autumn.
