Mid-month, for paid subscribers, I share what’s been working well in my life as well as links to what I’m reading, listening to, watching, and cooking. The archive of past editions of this series can be found right here, and in the comments you are always warmly invited to share what’s been working for you, too!
What’s Working
Quitting things I don’t want to do (even if I’ve already paid for them). Reaffirming my own beliefs and values. Working to build up my tolerance for how uncomfortable it feels when people disagree with me. Lowering my expectations of myself so much with a 12-week-old puppy at home. Not overcommitting (to anything). Cozy wood stove (always). Fully logging out of my email at the end of each work week. Evening turmeric milk lattes. Hot hot showers. Letting my friends come over and help with the dogs. Cleaning the kitchen before bed. Listening to soothing music. Naming my own needs out loud.
